Samsung Genio Touch – great for children!

The Samsung Genio Touch (others may know it as the S3650 Corby) is a simple to use 3G touch screen phone.  It has a 2.8-inch colour touch screen, which is a large screen in an overall compact phone measuring 10.3 cm in height, 5.7 cm in width and 1.3 cm in depth.  It’s a lightweight phone weighing only 92g including the battery which makes it economical for carrying; it avoids being insubstantial, however, because of its overall design.

Included with the handset is an expandable memory card slot allowing the user to insert a memory card with a capacity of up to sixteen gigabytes of external memory. The phone operates over GSM and 3G networks, and has inbuilt EDGE technology and GPRS which ensures that the user has high speed connectivity to the internet. The Genio Touch has the capability to speedily transfer files to other hardware.

The phone connects to Bluetooth compatible devices with a wire free Bluetooth connection or a USB connection with USB devices.

The Genio Touch has an integrated WAP web browser that supports XHTML and HTML web browsing.

The phone comes with the standard SMS texting service, email, camera and video, contact list and games.  All services are straightforward and simple to operate.

In addition to this, the phone also can be used as a radio and a music centre.  Music can be downloaded from PCs or from an internet music store.  The phone supports WMA, MP3 and eAAc music formats.
