Sony Ericsson W910i Review
The W910i is the first Sony Ericsson which features ‘SensMe’, the music browser. It has a large screen which makes using the smart phone easy. The phone is compact but the small keyboard may make some functions awkward to use.
This Walkman phone has a music browser making all the music functions easy to use. The sound quality of the phone is better than most and most types of music files are supported. Downloading tracks onto the handset is straightforward. The music browser sorts tracks according to mood and tempo. In spite of the emphasis on music with this phone there is no headphone jack although there is an adaptor. Serious music fans will find that the memory is not adequate for their needs as it is just 35mb internal memory, though this can be boosted with the use of memory cards.
The phone has a built-in camera but it is only 2-megapixels and has no flash or automatic focus, although there is a digital zoom function. There is also an in-built radio.
Internet access is via 3G and from the home page various internet sites can be easily accessed, including news and social networking sites. There is also the option to upload text and photos straight to a Blogger page and the applications on the phone can automatically set this up for you.
This phone is ideal for those who like the functions of a MP3 player combined with a phone, though other functions such as the camera are very basic in comparison.
