Recycle Mobile Phones and support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
The public recently saw a new call being launched asking for cell phone recycling.
With respect to a cell phone campaign, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as well as a local MP are standing together. The MP is working towards encouraging people to recycle their mobile phones as a way to raise funds. The ambulance is a matter of life or death for someone in need and it is very important that it goes on. Not just that, the ambulance must be in a good condition too. Whenever a need arises, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance assists various residents and provides emergency services. Local people are being asked to donate funds to keep their services active.
The Air Ambulance and MP are working together with Humber Conservatives as far as old mobile phones are concerned and are requesting UK residents to engage in cell phone recycling and donate money to the charity. You can approach any recycling company of your choice if you want to contribute to the cause; else you can also approach the charity partner that Yorkshire Air Ambulance currently is using.
The idea is basically to help with donations to the ambulance service and through recycling of old mobile phones, they are attempting to raise funds in a new way. You can also go beyond recycling as far as donating money to the charity is concerned, especially if the donation through cell phone recycling is falling short.
