Nokia Lumia 610: A Review

A new smartphone has been revealed by Nokia for its UK market.  Features such as Windows OS, Wi-Fi tethering and flip to silence option are offered in the new Nokia Lumia 610.  The smartphone is available in a nice range of colours: white, black, magenta and cyan.  Service operators such as Virgin Mobile, T Mobile, Vodafone, Orange, the Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U and O2 are offering Nokia Lumia 610 for just £15 every month on a contract.

Social networking is also offered by Nokia Lumia 610 using a People Hub, which allows one to put all contacts from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, cell phone and email into the phone for quick and easy access.  Xbox Live also provides its gaming features on the new Nokia, apart from the other available apps such as Nokia Music, Nokia Maps, Nokia Transport and Nokia Drive.

According to Conor Pierce, the Vice President, the Nokia Lumia 610 is meant to be a model faster than its previous versions.  The free music application of Nokia Mix Rdio will be preloaded on the phone.  Even Microsoft Office app comes loaded on the phone so that Excel, Word and Powerpoint can be tapped into on the phone.  Students can also use the OneNote which is downloaded for use of memos, notes or ideas.  A cloud service available on Lumia 610 also enables synchronisation with your home PC.  The phone undoubtedly is more affordable for use by students and business people and it is absolutely clear that they are aiming at the younger age group by introducing student apps and social media.
